Welcome to Door County!
As dogs are considered to be more and more like family members, vacationing with pets has become increasingly popular. Your dog loves nothing more than to be by your side, and while traveling together, it's up to you to make sure the whole family has a safe, happy, and stress-free trip. For your dog's happiness and well-being, always provide frequent walks, fresh water, and playful exercise. As a courtesy to our customers and web visitors, we have created a comprehensive list of trails, beaches, boat landings, dog parks, restaurants, and shops to make pet-friendly travel in Door County as easy and as fun as possible.

The Door County Humane Society is our local, no-kill shelter with an amazing staff of volunteers and plenty of animals in need of forever, loving homes. Many people who come to Door County enjoy visiting the shelter and interacting with the animals in the absence of their own pets while vacationing.
Door County Dog Store is a proud sponsor of an adoptable pet listing.

A national listing of animals for adoption are also listed on Petfinder and Petango.
